Ashburn, VA, May 17, 2013 –(PR.com)– In an effort to continually improve upon its products, BuildAutomate Inc. has concluded it’s first of several case studies on its best-in-class WordPress plugin, the XData Toolkit.
The XData ToolKit is a stand-out offering in the world of WordPress plugins. It allows a developer to implement dynamic content via multiple data sources such as MySQL databases, XML, RSS Feeds and REST-based web services.
To demonstrate the tool’s flexibility and power, BuildAutomate’s CEO and founder Vaughn Bullard chose to evaluate the usage of the XData Toolkit on www.BudgieCollective.com.
The Budgie Collective is an online, electronic music radio station specializing in non-commercial House and Techno music. It actively promotes and maintains a community of contributors who play live and supply recordings to the station. Currently, the Budgie Collective serves 8,000 to 10,000 unique listeners a month and is heard in more than 100 countries.
Mark Francis, Managing Director of the Budgie Collective says he was looking for a robust and flexible way to present their music database to its listening audience when he discovered the XData Toolkit.
“The optimal end goal was to present a listener with tabled track listings and interactive links relevant to a DJ/Artist selection,” he said. “The XData Toolkit from BuildAutomate was the obvious solution. It also offers features that will allow expansion down the road.”
Throughout implementation of XData Toolkit and through conclusion of the case study, Bullard and Francis worked closely to ensure the offering in its current state lived up to its listed features.
“We strive to put out superior products and offer top-notch customer service,” Bullard says. “Listening to our customers and helping them achieve their business goals allows us to continually expand upon our core offerings.”
Francis says XData Toolkit was the clear choice for Budgie Collective very early in his search.
“A key selling point of this plugin is how it enriches the content of our site by allowing listeners to drill into and follow links to purchase tracks from the mixes previously heard,” he said. “The simple and easy installation has a logical chain of events from the beginning to end.”
The full case study between BuildAutomate and The Budgie Collective can be found at buildautomate.com and includes additional information on the installation, configuration and technical aspects of the XData Toolkit use.
“We are thrilled with the results of this first case study,” Bullard said. “It reinforces our commitment to continually improve our products and to understand the needs of the marketplace. We take the praise and the criticisms and learn from them.”
Mr. Francis, who was not compensated in any way for his participation in this study, says the overall experience has been one of increased knowledge and growth. “Well, it was all a bit of a fairytale actually,” he said. “We were consistently amazed by the quality of the plugin and the support we received. We can’t wait to get the wheels turning on our next data source implementation for our listeners.”
