Round Rock, TX, July 16, 2013 –(PR.com)– The Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA) is holding its annual conference on October 27 – 29 in The Woodlands at the Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Bill Rancic will be the opening session speaker on Monday, October 28. Several years after his introduction to America as Donald Trump’s original Apprentice, Bill Rancic continues to develop as a businessman and entrepreneur. TSSA members can relate to Bill because of his current real estate development activities. He also produced and starred in the AE series “We Mean Business,” where he and his team of experts grappled with the impending doom of businesses in jeopardy by showing owners how to reduce expenses, increase profits, limit liability, implement new technologies and more. These are universal themes that appeal to all business owners.
A published author, he wrote Beyond the Lemonade Stand to help educate and motivate young people worldwide about the value of money and how to leverage skills, talents and abilities at an early age. All proceeds from the sale of this book have gone to charity. Beyond the Lemonade Stand is the follow up to the New York Times best-selling book, You’re Hired: How to Succeed in Business and Life from the Winner of The Apprentice, which chronicled Bill’s successful life, experience and proven advice.
The conference kicks off on Sunday, October 27 with a charity Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament benefiting the Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston. A live and silent auction continues throughout the conference. This year marks the twelfth year of TSSA’s involvement with the hospital having raised close to half a million dollars on behalf of the organization since 2001.
Education sessions start on Monday, October 28, ending on Tuesday, October 29 and will address emerging trends, technology issues, operations and management, sales and marketing. The lineup of speakers and special presentations has been selected to provide information to those new to the industry as well as veteran operators.
Those interested in attending may register online at www.txssa.org or by calling (888) 259-4902. Anyone interested may attend all or part of the conference. Complete session descriptions and schedule of events are available on the Association’s website.
