Intern Teams Can Get Kickstarter.com Campaigns Fully Funded

Published on

Seattle, WA, September 13, 2013 –(PR.com)– Kickstarter has become a beacon of hope for small businesses and non-profit organizations everywhere. Even celebrities and big name projects are using Kickstarter to fund their dreams. The Veronica Mars Movie Kickstarter Campaign raised over $2 million within the first day, reaching its goal and putting a green light on the small budget film. But most companies are not that fortunate. Hardly any businesses reaches their goal and often end up failing their objective. Super Interns has the key to making any Kickstarter campaign a success.

While interning for the White Wave Young Soon Kim Dance Company, Judi Huck jumped in and saved the day. The dance company was one week from closing the gap on their Kickstarter campaign, with about half of the money left to raise. Audaciously, Huck stated, “I can help you raise the rest of that $10,000.” And she did.

There is only a mere 39% success rate for full-funding campaigns. Companies who use 5-6 interns are more likely to become part of that 39%.

The Interns Needed For A Successful Campaign
1. Video Mogul Intern – Tells the story through a powerful, compelling, and persuasive video to express the heart of the concept to backers.
2. Creative Writer Intern – Creates a written emotional story to get backers involved in the project.
3. PR Agent Intern (could also be the Creative Writer Intern)- Accelerates the campaign by connecting with the media, writing press releases and getting the campaign out there.
4. Social Media Intern – Promoting the campaign and directing people to the Kickstarter page. Additionally, keeping the backers interested and involved throughout the project.
5. Marketing Intern – Research, design, and implement the promotional strategy by creating donations at different levels that the backers would want to support.
6. Financial Development Intern – Managing the backers and the incoming money along with forecasting how much is needed to reach the goal and communicating that to the company.

Success of a project really comes through updates. “People want to see what’s going on, where the project is headed. Even if you just tell them something small every day, backers will be more apt to share your story. People want to be involved in the process.” stated Stephanie Pereira, Art Program Director at Kickstarter Inc.

Having worked with several organizations on their successful campaigns, Super Interns offers a variety of interns who can work virtually with companies and are ready to work now. Super Interns also offers the training and management of interns to assure that the internships are a win-win.

The Dynamic Duo of Super Interns (www.SuperInterns.com, and https://www.facebook.com/SuperInterns), Super Julie Braun and Super Michelle Demers, have worked with well over 3000 virtual interns all across the country for a variety of businesses and non-profit organizations. They are the thought leaders in the field of virtual internships and are able to train both employers and interns on working effectively in a virtual environment.

Running a legitimate business is no piece of cake. We go in it to satisfy a passion but we don't count on the many elements that go with that passion. Deadlines, orders, payroll, hiring, vendors, bills, personal life etc. These can all be managed initially by us but as time goes on we have to come to the decision to start hiring people who have the ability to either duplicate us to have strengths where we are weak. Here are some tips to help you along the way. [...]

Beats Electronics to be Acquired by Apple

Apple is set to acquire headphone maker and music company Beats Electronics for a reported $3.2 billion. This deal could literally nudge rapper/producer Dr Dre into billionaire status and make him one of the most respected black entrepreneurs in the history of the music industry. He didn't do it alone, he worked with Interscope's Jimmy Iovine as his business parter to build this incredible 7-year-old  empire. Originally the duo worked with Monster electronics on a deal to distribute Beats but the deal went south a few years ago and Iovine and Dre cut ties with Monster. [...]
