Money Journal Poll Shows Majority Work to be Wealthy

Published on

Las Vegas, NV, October 10, 2013 –(PR.com)– A huge majority surveyed say they are working to become wealthy, according to a new poll conducted by Money Journal.com. In fact, 80% of respondents to the online survey said they work to someday become wealthy.

The over-whelming majority of respondents to the poll may be dreamers but they still work to someday hopefully be wealthy. The idea of economic security from a lot of money is an ideal that is as old as the ages, but psychologists say the promise of wealth holds security for people particularly as they age.

However, getting rich fell out of favor during the 1960s for many who joined the hippie movement only to make a robust return years later as former hippies turned to Wall Street to make investments and obtain financing for their business ventures. The plight of the Middle Class since the 2008 financial crisis, which started on Wall Street has also had a major impact on the U.S. class structure.

Get rich schemes fill the confines of the modern era, with thousands of companies offering ways consumers can pay to learn how to become wealthy. Few, however, become wealthy through program like those offered on the Internet. The people who launch the schemes more often than not seem to be the only ones making fortunes.

MoneyJournal.com regularly surveys visitors on important issues related to the economy, wealthy lifestyles, obtaining riches for a better life and is a leading independent resource for consumers. Journalists, including experts in stocks, bonds, real estate, life styles of the rich and famous, money management and personal finance provide reports and forecasts.
