San Francisco, CA, September 07, 2013 –(PR.com)– Accelerator from Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is first to offer an education and development program for start-up entrepreneurs that does not take a piece of their equity. The program launches in San Francisco on September 23rd with Strategy Day, the first of four high-energy, speed-learning opportunities covering a wide variety of topics designed to help entrepreneurs accelerate their businesses.
The EO Accelerator program provides start-up entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and skills they need to grow their business to over US$1 million in annual revenue. Strategy Day topics include Setting Goals Aligned with Values, Building Your Company for the Long Term, Franchising Strategies, and Using the Internet to Enhance Profitability.
Executive-level guest speakers and entrepreneurs will be on hand during the series of quarterly, high-impact learning events, bringing a wealth of experience and connections to Accelerator participants. The program takes place at the offices of Orrick in San Francisco.
“I encourage anyone who is serious about growing their business to apply to Accelerator. It’s a real-world education you can’t get anywhere else,” said Bill Gallagher, EO San Francisco Accelerator Chair and CEO of Lori Bonn Design.
The program is presented by EO, the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs, and hosted locally by Orrick with help from supporting sponsors.
EO San Francisco is accepting only 20 participants into the first Accelerator program, and only a handful of openings remain at this time. In order to qualify as an Accelerator candidate, participants must be 47 years of age or younger and have gross annual revenue between US$250,000 and US$1,000,000. The annual program tuition is US$1,800 and requires No equity grant to EO. Qualified applicants are reviewed and accepted on a first-come basis.
The global Accelerator program is in its sixth year and is now offered in major cities across the US, Canada and Europe and is expanding to Australia, Asia, and Mexico in the near future. Accelerator has propelled over 178 entrepreneurs to grow their businesses over US$1 million in sales since 2007.
Chris Carrigg, an area entrepreneur who completed Accelerator in Los Angeles with his business partner Kester Wise said, “EO Accelerator was an invaluable experience; in the program we learned practical steps to make our business more successful right away. And the networking has been terrific. We’ve made several friends and connections that will benefit us personally and professionally for years to come.”
