Will Adoasi Black-Owned Watch Brand Launches New Line of Modular-Interchangeable Fashion Watches
Will Adoasi the founder of Vitae London watches launches a new line of modular-interchangeable fashion watches on Kickstarter. Richard Branson and Virgin Start-Up backed the company, and Richard was one of the first to buy and wear a London Vitae watch.
The new line, called Elmington, is available in both face sizes of 36 mm and 44 mm. Each size comes in a choice of four facial colors (silver, blue, gun metal gray and black) and each watch can be purchased with interchangeable bands and bezel (rim)–in silver, rose gold and gold range. This means that you can create three different watches from just one watch face to suit whatever you wear.
Like all Vitae London watches, the Elmington line helps kids in sub-Saharan Africa. For example, a Solar Lamp from local charity Pen to Paper Ghana is given to a child for every Elmington watch purchased. Which means the kids don’t have to drive for hours or burn hazardous fuels to study at night.
Will is passionate about making watches combining modern and conventional fashion with social justice. Vitae watches are sleek, compact timepieces that look great while also making a difference in the world, mixing minimalist ideas with trendy modernity.
The watches are named after the South London council estate, where Will grew up. These humble beginnings inspired Will to create a company that was at the heart of social change. His goal is to help all of us ‘live without boundaries’ –whether we were born in the UK, or in Africa, or elsewhere in the world.
