What 30 Years in Music Taught Me About Life

I honestly believe that sharing the highs and lows from over three decades in the music industry can save someone time and add real value to their career or business decisions. Having been fortunate enough to launch a successful business early on, I see it as my responsibility to give back with unfiltered honesty.

After running Radio Facts for 24 years and writing about the seven truths I know for sure about the industry, I realized there’s a whole lot more to say—especially about what the music business has taught me about LIFE. If I were a statistician, I’d say I’ve had an incredible sample size to understand not just the Black business community but the entire industry ecosystem.
